Comedy stations during a 12 hour drive. Total life saver. I tried music but that just made me grouchy after 30 minutes.

Might I suggest some automotive podcast?
Team clear coat is a great one, smoking tire, Hooniverse maybe a untitled car show episode too?

As Ike said, podcasts are great. I’m also a fan of audiobooks. I got the kids hooked on them on our last 10-hour trip.

They are like my children I can’t pick a favorite! Chris Leone from red bull was a good one, Ryan west and the press release game was fun to do, Cody from Cobb tunning was a blast, he’s a true Jalop, Jay lamm, any episode with Letho is worth a listen, if you want to hear a truly drunk Ike ramble on I would recommend the Team clear coat episode I was on,

Ahh satellite radio, I plan on getting that again since my new job will require driving a lot.

Any of the episodes with me in them are pretty great, but there is a little bias there.

On long trips with my Sig Other we can’t agree on music and have done books on tape. I just did a long road trip (solo) with the free intro Sirius XM on my new car, and found that there are public radio channels with just news (NPR) or stories (PRX), which helped when I needed to engage the brain. I can see the comedy working similarly.
I may need to actually pay for it next time a long road trip comes up, rather than find a book on tape/CD/podcast.

Not bad, it's a good sounding drone.
